Tatjana Roos, violin (London, England), entered the Yehudi Menuhin School in 2008, studying with Natasha Boyarsky. She went on to study with Boris Kuschnir at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Boris Kucharsky at Junior Guildhall in London, and Miriam Fried at New England Conservatory. Tatjana has won prizes from competitions including Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition, Tunbridge Wells, Henri Marteau, Singapore International Violin Competition, and the Manfred Grommek Prize at Kronberg Academy. Tatjana has traveled to the Verbier Festival Academy, IMS Prussia Cove, Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival and Ravinia Steans Music Institute. Recent engagements include concertos with the City Chamber Ensemble and the Odessa National Opera Theatre Orchestra, and performances at the Mellon Chamber Music Festival. Tatjana will join the Evnin Rising Stars program at the Caramoor Center. Due to the generous support of a London benefactor and Florian Leonhard Fine Violins, Tatjana plays a G.B. Guadagnini violin, c.1785.
