Hee-Soo Yoon, violin (Vancouver, Canada), is a soloist and chamber musician. She has performed with members of the Borromeo and Cleveland String Quartets, and has coached with members of the Brentano, Miró, and Juilliard String Quartets. In addition, she has worked with composers Sofia Gubaidulina, Julian Anderson, and Andy Akiho. Most recently, she performed in the world premiere of the late Roger Tapping’s composition Reverberations for string quartet. A graduate of New England Conservatory and Juilliard, she currently studies with Mayumi Seiler at the Glenn Gould School in Toronto. She performs on a 2014 Douglas Cox copy of the “ex-Huberman” Stradivarius. Previous Yellow Barn musician (2021)
